In 2023 adidas asked women: what does it take to feel safe when you run? A knife, mace, a rape alarm, dressing like a man, tracking their location, wearing one earbud,... Sounds ridiculous, but this is the reality of 92% of women who feel unsafe when they run.

To call out the world we launched The Ridiculous Run. Two cities, two runners, and two full motorcades. A night run that sent out our message: Feeling safe shouldn't look this ridiculous.
